Features Aquaflow Sub base components Surface dressing 2-4mm surface dressing is to be applied to the surface of Aquaflow. The surface dressing should be brushed/vibrated between pavers. Laying course Material supplied shall be referred to as 2-6mm clean crushed stone. Upper sub base Material supplied shall be referred to as 5-20mm clean crushed stone. Lower sub base Material supplied shall be referred to as 10-63mm clean crushed stone. SC Intergrid The Intergrid should be incorporated at the interface between the the two layers of sub base. SC Membrane If a site requires to harvest the rain water, a fully welded SC membrane will be necessary. Inbitex Inbitex cleanses the water entering the system. All oils and silts are captured by the Inbitex. Distribution tanks A distribution tank is for use in association with down pipe drainage into a tanked system. Fin drain The drain consists of a geotextile fusion bonded to an integral core. This eliminates the risk of soil intrusion common on other fin drain systems. 


What Is Aquaflow® Permeable Paving System? Formpave's® Aquaflow® permeable paving system is a sustainable urban drainage system (SUDS). The Aqualflow® system prevents run-off and flooding from paved areas, and collects and filters storm water for later use. The patented system allows rain to infiltrate through a permeable block paving surface into a unique sub-base. How does it work? The water passing through the Aquaflow® SUDS system is cleaned by filtration and microbial action. It is then released in a controlled manner into sewers or water courses. Or, can be harvested and used for watering plants or flushing toilets.
