Fragile Earth Septic Tank Treatment
Fragile Earth Septic Tank Treatment is a enviromentally friendly, bacterial solution to help keep your septic tank in its best possible shape.
Understanding your Septic Tank System:
Untreated wastewater from a property flows into the septic tank, where the solids separate from the liquids. Some solids, such as soap scum or fat, will float to the top of the tank to form a scum layer. Heavier solids, such as human and kitchen wastes, settle to the bottom of the tank as sludge. Self forming bacteria in the tank help the system "digest" these solids or sludge.
One of the problems of septic tanks though is that all products which go through your drain system end up in the septic tank. This even includes chemicals which are used throughout the home. These chemicals kill the bacteria in the septic tank, and thus render the septic tank system unbalanced which causes many problems.
If you are like most people, you know very little about your septic tank system. This is understandable. In urban and suburban areas there are sewers to carry household waste to municipal wastewater treatment plants. In more rural areas, however, septic tank systems provide the functions of both sewers and treatment plants. A septic tank is a tank in which waste matter is decomposed through bacterial action. ECO-SEPT replenishes and boosts the supply of these valuable micro-organisms in your septic tank, and allows natural activity to continue.
If you could look inside your septic tank, you would find three layers. The top layer is the scum layer in the septic tank where organic material floats to the surface. Bacteria in the septic tank biologically convert this material to a liquid. The middle layer is the effluent layer where mostly clear water will be found. This clear water is the only layer that should enter your absorption area. The bottom layer is the sludge layer. This layer is where the inorganic or inert solid materials and the by-products of bacterial digestion sink to.
All household waste is disposed of through the septic system. The proper operation of the septic system is essential to health, property value, and ecology. A small commitment to the care of your septic system will protect you from the nightmare created by a failing system.
