Low carbon buildings: real risks and real opportunities for mainstream construction
Speaker: Neil May - Natural Building Technologies (NBT)
Neil was an academic and also a film maker before becoming a building labourer in 1988 for 4 years, and then setting up his own award winning ecological and conservation building company, which he ran until 2004.
In 1999 Neil set up Natural Building Technologies (NBT), a company that sells and develops ecological building materials and systems for the mainstream construction industry in the UK. Neil also runs NBT Consult which is a network of sustainable building experts working with Housing Developers such as BioRegional Quintain and organisations such as the Princes Foundation.
Neil is also Chairman of the Good Homes Alliance, an alliance of environmental developers and building professionals who lead the UK in delivering sustainable housing.
