What Is Drainage Geocomposite WD700, WD725, WD750? The Geocomposite consists of a black polymer extruded grid core with a non-woven filter on one side and an LDPE film on the other, both thermally bonded.
Application - Methane venting
- Cut-off drains
- Structures which require drainage and waterproofing
Contamination and Methane Venting One of the potential problems with building next to an existing contaminated site, such as a disused domestic refuse tip, is the risk of lateral migration of leachate and methane gas. Impermeable drainage composites such as WD700 can be used to help prevent lateral migration of mobile contaminants. The composite also forms a suitable carrier for methane gas which can then escape to the atmosphere through a suitable venting system.
Structural Drainage, Buried Structures, Basements and Tunnels WD700 Drainage Geocomposite has the typical drainage capabilities of our range with the added benefit of an impermeable back sheet that aids waterproofing and the efficient dispersal of water.
