Primer
Primer is a low viscosity deep penetrating product for wood, stone, cork and some painted surfaces. It is used for priming internal and external surfaces before applying White Undercoat, Varnish or Hard Oil.
It can be used on external surfaces, particularly windows, doors and planed timber framing. It can also be used on internal surfaces such as wood panelling and beams, or as a coating for surfaces to be waxed, such as wooden furniture.
Some painted objects, such as furniture or wooden floors painted with Casein, can be sealed with Primer. See Application below.
Properties
Primer is clear, rapid drying and water-resistant. It enhances the natural colour and grain of the wood, is anti-static and protects against dust.
