New Build Steel Construction
NBT Steel Frame systems are environmental, high performance solutions for lightweight new build steel construction. The systems are fully supported by design, training and site support.
Steel Frame systems are fully certified and warrantable for use in most parts of the UK, and have been used across the UK in private housing developments, new schools, community centres and many other types of buildings.
Steel Frame systems have the following benefits
- Highly energy efficient designs with substantially reduced thermal bridging and proper airtightness detailing, giving them considerable benefits according to the new Part L calculation methods.
- Good overheating control, because of the high thermal mass of the woodfibre boards.

Steel Frame systems have been used across the UK and are as follows:
Diffutherm - Rendered woodfibre insulation system externally over light steel frame.
Pavaclad - Clad woodfibre insulation system externally over light steel frame. Cladding includes masonry, timber, terracotta tiles etc.
