Warmcel 100 Cellulose Insulation

Warmcell insulation is made entirely from recycled newspaper in the UK - while not strictly natural insulation, it is very healthy to use and has unbeatable performance in some situations. We sell loose fill bags for topping up your attic with, although other grades are also used for filling timber frame walls. Ideal for loft insulation, it has good thermal conductivity (0.036W/mK). It is non irritant, has been treated to make it flame retardant, and is resistant to mould, fungi and rodents. It comes in 8kg bags - just empty them out and spread around. A single bag will cover 0.25m2 with 150mm of insulation. Easy to fit, natural and non irritant, great to get into awkward corners or between floors.
